Lack of beneficial effect of levamisole on Marek's disease

Summary

Levamisole hydrochloride adminstered by subcutaneous inoculation at 2.5 mg/kg or 25 mg/kg bodyweight under three dosage regimens to chicks infected by Marek's disease virus had no beneficial influence on the course of the disease.

L'hydrochloride de Levamisole administré par voie sous cutanée à la dose de 2,5 ou 25 mg par kilo de poids vif, selon trois protocoles différents à des poulets infectés par le virus de la maladie de Marek n'a pas eu d'influence bénéfique sur l'évolution de la maladie.

Zusammenfassung

Die subkutane Inokulation von 2,5 mg/kg oder 25 mg/kg Körpergewicht Levamisol‐hydrochlorid an Hühner, die mit dem Virus der Marek'schen Krankheit infiziert worden waren in drei verschiedenen Dosierungsschemata hatte keinen günstigen Einfluß auf den Krankheitsverlauf.
