This article refers to:
RETRACTED ARTICLE: Evaluating creativity in contemporary dance: a consensual approach towards research on the practice in China

We, the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Interdisciplinary Science Reviews, have retracted the following article:

Wang, Zheng. 2021. “Evaluating Creativity in Contemporary Dance: A Consensual Approach Towards Research on the Practice in China.” Interdisciplinary Science Reviews. doi: 10.1080/03080188.2021.1921441

The Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher are cognisant of evidence that the research had a number of similarities throughout to a previously published paper which had not been properly acknowledged and cross-referenced:

Clements, L., E. Redding, N. Lefebvre Sell, and J. May. 2018. “Expertise in Evaluating Choreographic Creativity: An Online Variation of the Consensual Assessment Technique.” Frontiers in Psychology 9:1448. doi: 10.3389/fpsyg.2018.01448

We have been informed in our decision-making by our corrections and editorial policies and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines on retractions.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher would like to thank the anonymous reader/s for their comments which alerted ISR to this in the first instance.
