Abstract
Bogdanov's Tectology represents a version of general systems theory which needs to be seriously reexamined by systems theorists and cyberneticians of both East and West. After exploring the principles of Trentowski's Cybernetyka in this journal (vol. 13, pp. 289-294), we now follow up with a closer examination of Tectology, the universal organizational science. We explore the relationships and contrasts between tectology and general systems theory and venture to shed some light of the history of Bogdanov's thought.
