This special issue is a timely reflection of the research progress in the area of analysis and synthesis for general systems under event-triggered communication scheduling. The investigated systems include networked control systems, complex networks as well as sensor networks. We would like to acknowledge all authors for their efforts in submitting high-quality papers.
