Abstract
compact forms are developed which exhibit the various possible ranks of integral generalized inverses of integral matrices. Two characterizations of {1}-inverses of complex matrices given in [3] are also shown to hold for integral matrices. Integral {2}-inverses are investigated, and a result determining the maximum rank of integral {2}-inverses of an integral matrix is proved.
