Theorems on the index of a symmetry class of tensors

Abstract

In [7], M. Marcus and J. Chollet introduced the index notion of a symmetry class of tensors V _λ(G), λ∊I(G)G  S_m . In this paper, we first give an index invariant property and then use it to give an index formula (see §1); finally some applications are given.
