PHOSPHORORGANISCHE VERBINDUNGEN 94¹ UBER DEN EINFLUSS DES POTENTIALS AUF DIE PRODUKTZUSAMMEN-SETZUNG BEI DER KATHODISCHEN SPALTUNG VON DIMETHYLDIPHENYL-PHOSPHONIUMBROMID UND DIE KONSEQUENZEN FÜR DEN REAKTIONSMECHANISMUS

Abstract

Anknüpfend an frühere Untersuchungen² haben wir am Beispiel der kathodischen Spaltung des Dimethyl-diphenyl-phosphoniumbromids den Einfluss des Potentials auf das Produktverhältnis: Ph₂PMe/PhPMe₂ studiert. Unter Einbeziehung einiger Energieparameter wird ein Reaktionsmechanismus vorgestellt, der mit den experimentellen Befunden in Übereinstimmung steht.

Following on from an earlier investigation,² we studied the influence of potential on the product ratio Ph₂PMe/PhPMe₂, in the cathodic reduction of dimethyl-diphenylphosphoniumbromide.

A reaction mechanism is proposed by consideration of energy parameters, which is in good agreement with the preparative results.
