Abstract
The Redox catalysis and free-radical telomerizations of di- and trichloromethylphosphonyl dichlorides and their esters with chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) were studied. Also investigated was phosphonation of telomers of CTFE and carbon tetrachloride using Kinnear-Perren and Michaelis-Arbuzov methods. Phosphonic compounds containing chlorofluorinated blocks are obtained with these two methods. Byproducts are described and explained using known mechanisms.
