Abstract

Trialkyl phosphites react with 3,3-dichloro-2,4-dioxocarbostyrils (1a, b) and 2,3,4-trioxo-1-methylcarbostyril (1c) to give dialkyl phosphates of types (4) and (9), respectively. Structures of the new products were established by analytical and spectroscopic (IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR, and MS) results. The anticholinesterase activity of compounds (4a), (4d), and (9a) was tested.
