Abstract

Addition of alcohols and primary amines to several 2-alkyl 1,3,2-dioxa, oxaza and diazaphospholanes leads to monocyclic phosphoranes including a PH bond. These phosphoranes are in equilibrium with the starting phospholanes. It was shown that in the case of phenols, particular phosphoranes including a PH bond are in equilibrium with a phosphonium form.
