Abstract
A few years ago, an architect and musician, Pedro C:ineva, and a photographer, Carlos Venturini, entered a house that was being demolished and found a wooden box full of old photographic plates among some things evidently meant for the trash bin. The pair decided to save the plates and, in doing so, they performed what might well be called an act of cultural service: they surreptitiously entered private property under demolition and carried the box away.
