Abstract
Gubbera regina gen. et sp. nov. is described from the Early Devonian Sutchers Creek Formation near Mudgee, N.S.W., Australia. The new genus is a solitary ‘cystimorph’ tetracoral, based on a single large specimen. It is characterised by an unusually wide septal stereozone and by a long protoseptum in later growth stages, around which skeletal dilation develops.
