Pages 8-13 | Published online: 15 Apr 2008

Abstract

An interesting and, so far as can be ascertained, an original research study has recently been undertaken among a group of families where the mother or both parents were blind, with the object of ascertaining whether and, if so, to what extent, the sighed children of blind parents were in a “deprived” category.
