Pages 35-38 | Accepted 01 Sep 1994, Published online: 01 Feb 2008

Abstract

Issues important to both individual counsellors and the counselling profession as a whole are raised. The nature of counselling, and the implications this has for the attributes needed in a ‘good’ counsellor, are explored. The author's own personal reflections as a counsellor are also shared.
