Abstract

Professor Irwin Epstein, American social work academic, highly regarded across the health field for his teaching and writing on research, visited Melbourne in 1994. Co-author of several important books, he is well known for his publications on program evaluation and research utilisation. This interview raises some of the practical and philosphical issues for social work research.
