Latente besiedlung der kartoffel mit Colletotrichum coccodes (Wallr.) hughes ‐ seine eliminierung über sprossspitzenkultur und rekontamination auf dem feld

Abstract

Die Resistenzprüfung gegen den Kartoffelkrebs wird durch eine latente Besiedlung des Krebsinfektionsmaterials mit Colletotrichum coccodes (Wallr.) Hughes beeinträchtigt. Über Sproßspitzenkultur konnte das zur Krebsanzucht verwendete Knollenmaterial C.‐coccodes‐frei gemacht werden. Gesundes Pflanzgut wurde jedoch im Feld relativ schnell durch C.coccodes rekontaminiert.

Screening potato breeding material against wart disease was sometimes insufficient owing to a latent penetration of the wart inoculum by Colletotrichum coccodes (C.c). By the aid of shoot tip culture C.c. ‐ free sprouts could be obtained for wart multiplying. However, the healthy seed material was quickly recontaminated by C.c. in the greenhouse or in the field.
