Barrier Resonances in Strong Magnetic Fields

Pages 1539-1566 | Published online: 08 May 2007

Abstract

In this paper, we study the resonances of Schrödinger operators with a homogeneous magnetic field when the field strength tends to the infinity. We prove the existence of resonances and give complete asymptotic expansions for the energy and the width of resonances in the case that the electric potential has a high barrier.
