Simultaneous Variable Sampling Inspection for Finite Populations

Abstract

This article deals with the inspection problem of selecting good finite populations. The empirical Bayes approach is applied to incorporate information from various sources to construct a simultaneous inspection procedure . The relative regret of is used as a measure of its performance. It is shown that the relative regret of converges to zero at a rate (ln n)^1.5/n where n is the number of finite populations involved in the inspection problem.
