Abstract

A uniqueness theorem for a recently introduced special Hankel transform of probability distributions on the non negative half-line motivates a K-S type test statistic based on empirical Hankel transforms for testing the hypothesis of exponentiality. This article deals with the asymptotic behavior of the new test.
