Remarks on statistical inference and prediction for a hard-core clustering model

Abstract

For a hard-core clustering point-process different methods of estimating the model parameters are discussed. Using a relation to spatial birth-and-death processes a so¬lution of a prediction problem is suggested. Three examples are considered
