Bayesian procedures for inferences about the odds ratio and the proportionratio ⧜=p1/p2 are given. The CDF and moments for each of these quantities are calculated using a prior distribution on (p1,p2) that is the product of two independent beta densities. The Bayesian credible intervals obtained using these procedures appear to be somewhat shorter tham the intervals obotained using ancillary statistics.
