Conditional Tests for censored matched pairs

Abstract

A class of statistics is proposed for the problem of testing for location difference using randomly right censored matched pair data. Each member of the class provides a conditionally distribution-free test of H₀: no location difference. Simulation results indicate that powers tests basd on certain members in the class are as good as or better thatn the power of a test proposed by Woolson and Lachenbruch (1980).
