Abstract

Several estimators for the variance of estimates of the intercept and slope for a linear model fit to censored data are proposed and compared. The Buckley-James (1979) procedure is used to derive estimates of the slope and intercept and the bootstrap is applied to this method to derive new variance estimates. Results indicate that several of the methods perform suitably well for this problem.
