Confidence intervals for proportions of total variations in unbalanced two-way components of variance models using unweighted means

Abstract

Approximate 1 — αupper, lower and two-sided confidence intervals for _A and _B, the ratios of the individual variances ² _A ² _Bto the total variation (ILM0001) are found for the unbalanced two-factor crossed components-of-variance model without interaction by using unweighted cell means. Results of a simulation study performed to estimate the levels of these approximate confidence intervals are given
