Orthogonal parameters with censored data

Abstract

Orthogonal parameters possess inferential, numerical and interpretational conveniences. Many practical models require transformation of the natural parameters to obtain orthogonal parameters. This paper explores properties, construction and interpretation of orthogonal parameters for location-scale distributions under censoring of data.
