Change-point problems in software and hardware reliability

Abstract

In this paper, we present the change-point problems in software reliability and hardware reliability. Some change-point models motivated by a basic software reliability model are proposed. It is shown that the proposed change-point models are slightly different from the common ones. The maximum likelihood estimation of the change-point is derived and some numerical applications in software reliability modelling are presented.
