MODERN TEACHERS AND POSTMODERN STUDENTS

Pages 51-58 | Published online: 09 Jul 2006

Abstract

The typical full‐time community college instructor and the typical traditional‐age community college student hold fundamentally different views of how the world works. The former hold a modern view, and the latter, a postmodern view. If modern faculty can better understand postmodern students, the teaching and learning experience in the classroom may be enhanced.
