Neil Ramjewan

Neil T. Ramjewan is a doctoral candidate at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. His work aims to disrupt and reconceptualize colonial and racist discourses of child and childhood by centering Black, Brown and Indigenous genealogies.

Julie C. Garlen

Julie C. Garlen is an Associate Professor of Childhood and Youth Studies and the Co-Director of The Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies at Carleton University. Her work explores how culture functions symbolically, institutionally, and pedagogically in the lives of children and youth.
