Abstract
Two analytic techniques, Fantasy Theme Analysis and TOGETHER, a computer‐assisted technique, were applied to ten hours of the ABC Evening News coverage of the Nixon‐McGovern campaign. Results are reported separately for the two analyses, then examined for overlap and discrepancy.
