Circulation générale des eaux dans le lac Tchad

Résumé

Après la définition des principales caractéristiques hydrologiques du lac Tchad ainsi que de leur évolution interannuelle, la circulation générale des eaux est décrite à partir d'une méthode physico-chimique basées sur une relation existant entre la teneur en sodium des eaux et le temps de séjour de celles-ci dans le lac. L'analyse des principaux facteurs de la dynamique permet d'interpréter les grands mouvements.

Summary

The principal hydrological characteristics of Lake Chad and their annual evolution are presented. The general circulation of the waters is described from a physico-chemical method based on a relation existing between the sodium content of the waters and the time of residence of the waters. The analysis of the principal dynamic factors permits the interpretation of the water mouvements.
