With 3 figures and 2 tables in the text

Pages 1001-1010 | Published online: 01 Dec 2017

Summary

According to present knowledge originating from hydrogeological, hydraulical, physico-chemical, biological, bacteriological etc. works, it can be stated, that the method of artificial replenishment of aquifers can be used in a wide range of either bearing or artificially replenished strata even with a wide range of permeability characteristics. The method of infiltration can be used not only for the replenishment but also for creation of reserves in ground water storages. Infiltration in comparison with other technological methods of obtaining drinking water is usually more economical and mainly due to final water quality has many advantages.

The most important prerequisites for the effective operation of the infiltration method are:

the design to respect the results and knowledge obtained by complex evaluation of the investigations from several scientific branches and

the operator to respect very consistently the directions of operation order.
