Summary
Total P monitor data were analysed by mathematical spectral analysis in order to obtain more information on the transient behaviour of P time series at different depths and the correlations between these adjacent sampling points. It was observed, that the monitor data prove annual oscillations as well as strong oscillations of shorter periods. There is a linear correlation between the various monitor depths during the annual cycle. The shorter cycles correlate differently. There was further evidence for the assumption, that there is a nonlinear correlation between soluble and particulate P in the same depths, both for epilimnic and hypolimnic water.
