Abstract
19 crater lakes have been cored and surficial sediments have been analysed in term of radionuclide contents (Pb210, Ra226 and Cs137). These profiles can be gathered in two groups. The first group includes perturbed and unusual profiles where different sedimentation processes can be distinguished such as the lack (or loss) of recent deposits, flood, recent explosion, anomalously high sedimentation rate. The second group presents profiles with some common features. Sedimentation rates and integrated radionuclids contents are discussed.
