Summary
A 2D-4Phase marine dispersion model for non-conservative radionuclides is developed to explain both, the horizontal and the vertical (activity vs. depth profiles) distributions in the Irish Sea of some man-made radionuclides released from Sellafield. Also, some mixing processes are modeled to explain the 137Cs and 210Pb activity profiles in marine and lacustrine sediments.
