Abstract
Salient features of two comparatively new methods for evaluating sky wave field intensities, known as the SPIM and the RPU-9, are discussed. A simplified procedure is introduced for the computation of numerical results. Development and use of calculation aids in the form of reference diagrams are described and two representative sets of these diagrams, usable according to the two methods, are presented.
