Abstract

This paper describes a direct reading audio phase meter. The design principles and its practical aspects have been discussed. Reliability in function, simplicity in operation and stability in circuitry are the salient features of the instrument. The instrument reads with an accuracy of 1° irrespective of amplitude (0·3–100 V.) and frequency of the audio signal under measurement.
