ABSTRACT
The possibility of using Cerenkov interaction in ferrites by bunched electron beams to produce coherent power at microwave frequencies and higher has been investigated. The conditions under which microwave powers in the millimetre wave region of sufficient intensity can be generated and the properties of the ferrite in this connection are also discussed.
