ABSTRACT
In the present communication, the Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) measurements at frequencies from 2500 to 3200 Mc/s. made on a dielectric loaded conical helix Antenna designed, developed and tested by author are presented. The measurements show that this antenna can transmit 75 per cent power over a bandwidth of about 125 Mc/s. and about 89 per cent of power for a bandwidth of about 45 Mc/s. A brief mention of the helix antenna used for receiving Telemetered data from Naval Research Laboratory Satellite at 136 Mc/s. is also made.
