ABSTRACT
The application of a pair of cascaded exponential lines as a directional coupler has been described. The analysis of the cascaded exponential line directional coupler has been carried out with the help of the uniform transmission line equivalence of the cascaded exponential line, and it is found that the total length of the cascaded exponential line directional coupler is shorter than that of the equivalent uniform line directional coupler.
