ABSTRACT
In this paper the author has presented the brief description of cavity oscillators, namely end-to-end cavity oscillator, folded line type cavity oscillator and re-entrant cavity oscillator which have found their use with older type of disk-seal tubes as well as with the newly developed pencil type and metal ceramic tubes at UHF frequency range. The design curves for the oscillators using pencil tubes, 5675, 5893 are developed by author and the experimental verification of the theoretical design parameters is also presented by giving examples of end-to-end oscillator using 5675 at L-Band and re-entrant cavity oscillator using 5893 at S-Band of Microwave frequency range.
