ABSTRACT
Radio fading records obtained at Ahmedabad (23°01'N, 72°36'E) by Mitra's technique using a frequency of 2·6 Mc/s. during the IQSY (March 1965 to February 1966) have been analysed for both apparent and true drifts. The parameters of anisotropy and random changes of the irregularities in E (day and night) and F (night) regions of the ionosphere have been deduced. These are compared with the results obtained at Ahmedabad during the period March 1960 to February 1961. A comparison of true and apparent drift motions has also been made.
