Abstract

The programme of work which is ahead in the measurement of dielectric constant at very high frequency region is the use of admittance meter bridge. The frequency range being 50–1000 Mc/s. Measurements were carried on R-2200, R-1400, rexolite, teflon samples along and 1r to the optic axis. A sample holder based on the G.R. dielectric sample holder is designed and is used in conjunction with the admittance meter, the actual technique of measurement shall be discussed by the author in the next paper. The method of measurement is extended to liquid dielecrics and ferroelectric substances also.
