Abstract
A horizontal subsurface antenna has been studied with respect to its input impedance and radiation loss in the propagation path within the frequency limit from 100 to 300 kc/s. Calculated values of input impedances show good agreement with observed results. The charts for the radiation loss and input impedance are presented to facilitate the design of a subsurface system.
