Abstract
The H-plane directional pattern of shaped beam antenna, obtained by an Inexpensive method of beam shaping technique employing wire obstacles in the aperture of an open ended rectangular waveguide, yields a much broader beamwidth, compared with the conventional open ended waveguide radiators. The theoretical analysis of such cut-corner waveguide radiators has been presented in this communication, which is in excellent agreement with the experimental results.
