A Study of Single Coaxial Resonant Cavity

Pages 369-377 | Received 07 Oct 1969, Published online: 21 Aug 2015

Abstract

In this paper the author has presented the theoretical design of a single coaxial resonant cavity. The various parameters, for the two centre conductors, one 2·1 cm. long and the other 2·5 cm., namely the resonant frequency, insertion loss and bandwidth for various centre conductor diameters have been studied and presented. Using the 2·1 cm. long centre conductor the above-mentioned parameters have also been studied at 2700, 2800 and 2900 MHZ. The tuning is accomplished by capacitive loading technique.
