In the present communication authors have presented the study of the impedance variation with frequency at VHF range for two feed points and three ground planes for normal mode helix antenna with rectangular and tapered aluminium strips as conductors. Its behaviour has been compared with the normal mode helix antenna using copper wire as the conductor.
