Abstract

A method of describing a control system in parameter space is presented in this paper. The method which is an extension of parameter plane method, is applicable for the analysis and design of higher order control systems with multiple variable or adjustable parameters. It is shown that the reverse process, i.e. deriving the space epuations by expanding Siljak's relationships, is possible1. It is further shown that the proposed method is more direct and simpler than the one proposed by Thaler and Han1. The method is illustrated with the help of a few examples of control system analysis and design.
