Abstract
In the present paper a simplified analysis technique is provided which shows that the indefinite admittance matrix of an alternately connected nullator-norator ring like circuit is a null matrix, the order of the matrix being equal to the number of nullators or norators in the circuit. The effect of joining any two nodes of the circuit or any node of the circuit with an externally introduced node by a conductance on the elements of the null matrix is also studied. The method has been applied in realizing a few active network elements.
