Abstract
Theoretical study of a centre fed dipole antenna with displaced feed points is presented. A mathematical expression is derived using the spherical coordinate system. This expression is capable of explaining all the so far known cases of feed points displacement and from it three more new configurations of the dipole antenna with displaced feed points are derived. Typical radiation patterns for these new configurations are given.
