Abstract
The paper describes an experimental arrangement for recording continuously in a pen-and-ink recorder the strength of 27 kHz atmospherics. The circuit diagram and the various considerations involved are discussed. Actual recordings of the diurnal variation at three stations are shown. A few interesting examples of SEA and their correlation with X-ray flares, SCL and Hα line width are given.
